- Your company type (hoster, MSP, ISV, reseller) and rough size
- What’s happening: audit or review letter, reporting question, contract renewal, move to CSP, etc.
- Any deadlines (for example, an audit response date)
- The products involved (Windows Server, SQL, RDS, Office…) and your environment (dedicated, shared, VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure)
- Please don’t send end-customer personal data or confidential contracts in your first email; a summary is enough.
